When Thomas spills some cargo causing Hiro to be derailed, he is very upset. Hiro is sent to the Steamworks and Thomas worries that he will be there for a very long time.

Stephen is the oldest engine on the Island of Sodor. He's much slower than the other engines and sometimes they have to slow down for him, which Gordon in particular doesn't like.

Bertie, Thomas, and Spencer get into a debate about how many wheels are best. Bertie has four wheels, Thomas has six and Spencer is very proud of his twelve.

Red Vs Blues

Thomas is popular with the Sodor soccer team because they wear blue. When a mainland team cheers James because they wear red, the two engines compete to see who is faster.

When Emily breaks down and disrupts a race between Connor and Caitlin, Caitlin shunts Emily to the castle causing Emily to travel faster than she ever has been before.

The Little Engine who Raced Ahead

Philip, the little diesel boxcab, arrives at Knapford full of energy and enthusiasm. Determined to prove how fast he is, Philip challenges Gordon to a race.

Philip to the Rescue

When Philip shows off to James about how many cars he can pull, James decides to prove that he is the stronger engine by pulling a very long train. Soon disaster strikes.

Thomas the Babysitter

Thomas picks up a noisy passenger: a crying baby! Thomas realizes that the baby only settles down when the train is moving and so he makes an extra journey with no stops at all.
