As they pull and tug a coupling snaps and Skarloey races proudly causing havoc as he goes!

Percy gets put upon at the mine when the freight cars swerve out of control and into disaster. Thomas and Duck come to the rescue and Percy gets a special reward for his bravery.

Disappointed, Rosie decides that she can ‘help' Emily by taking the funfair alone. Not realising Emily is already attached to the funfair train, Rosie struggles. A coupling snaps and she chuffs off with only half the special, leaving trucks all over the tracks causing confusion and delay!

At the Quarry, high in the mountains, a mysterious boulder is shaken loose and chases the engines down the line, nearly squashing poor Percy!

In the spring-time, Rusty the diesel engine loves working on the line in a special valley far away. The Manager of the line needs another engine to help. Rusty offers and the little diesel sets off to the other railway where only brave diesels dare to go.
