When the diesels start coughing black smoke, Thomas is sent to fetch fresh diesel quickly. With the refuelling done, even Diesel has to admit that Thomas is a Really Useful Engine!

As Good As Gordon

Emily is to pull Gordon's express and desperate to prove she can be as good as him. So, she races off without enough coal, and doesn't wait at the water tower.

It's Halloween. Thomas and Emily collect a delivery from the Smelter's yard. After Percy warns them about ghosts, the smoke and strange noises are spookier than they had imagined.
